Update 1 for Roblox RUNAWAYS rolled out at 12:00 AM UTC on Saturday, August 22, 2026. For US players this landed during Friday evening (5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET), and for UK / EU / AU / NZ players it landed in the early hours of Saturday.
If you were already in a RUNAWAYS server when the update went live, leave the experience and rejoin — Roblox delivers beta updates via freshly-started servers, so your current server may still be running the previous build. Check the in-game version info to confirm.
Update 1 is the first major numbered content drop during the open Beta. Because RUNAWAYS is still in beta, loot values, police behaviour, weapons, vehicles, and other systems may still change in future builds — treat any current build as a moving target.
